COMSec: a fundamental component in the architecture of mobile communications for the Administration in Spain

COMSec presented as a reference solution in the breakfast meeting “Mobile devices in the National Security Scheme: The basis for Digital Transformation in the Administration”

Within the Spanish National Cryptologic Center strategy to raise awareness and spread security needs in companies dealing with public administrations, an event focused on mobile devices has been held in Madrid.

At the breakfast held in Madrid, the agency has shown a complete architecture suitable for the treatment of information under the National Security Scheme based on the following layers:

1. Samsung mobile devices (Galaxy S10 or Tab S4) qualified up to High Level protection, which have maximum base security.
2. Mobile Iron’s UEM/EMM/MDM, with a zero-trust approach that has made them leaders in their segment for any need or scenario, be it private (BYOD) or enterprise devices.
3. COMSec, the reference application in Spain in secure mobile communications, capable of guaranteeing security up to High Level, without restriction in the communication channel or the need for VPNs. COMSec is the only voice and instant messaging application included in the Spanish National Cryptologic Center catalog.
