COMSec Admin+ successfully tested in tactical communications conducted by the Spanish Army

Indra participates with its COMSec Admin+ solution in the joint tests carried out by the Spanish National Cryptologic Center and the Head of IS of the Spanish Army

Last October, it was tested a use case consisting of the secure federation or linking of two independent and secure infrastructures. The test was set up jointly by the Spanish National Cryptologic Centre and the Head of IS of the Spanish Army.

The infrastructure consisted of two Wi-Fi cells on three security layers:

• An application layer for secure voice, video and data communications consisting of Indra’s COMSec Admin+.
• A transport layer protection supported by Bittium SafeMove VPN solution.
• A link layer provided by EPICOM ciphers

The goal of the test was to reproduce the need to interconnect two tactical command posts in an agile, secure and guaranteeing total mobility.

The tests concluded successfully, thus demonstrating the capacity of COMSec Admin+ as a fundamental element in secure tactical communications in military operations.
